To My God

To My God

Though I never pray to you neither do

I hold you responsible for the failures and setbacks of my life

I never questioned your very existence

But from you I always preferred to keep a distance

You might be thinking I will come begging to you

But remember the lessons only taught by you

“Not to bow down to life’s failures

someday success will be yours”

And hence no matter how hard I get hit.

I shall fight the setbacks and the failures with all my grit.

I ain’t coming to you bowing down

I am ready to try again and succeed no matter If I have a whole world to bring down

I shall see you once I succeed in my task

Only to thank you and “What next?” a question to ask

I shall never say I went down trying

And shall never end up crying
